This role involves designing, constructing, simulating, and validating trapped-ion quantum computing systems, developing novel quantum gates, and maximizing QPU performance. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics/EE, proven experimental physics experience, and a background in quantum science and technology, collaborating extensively with theory groups to advance high-performance, scalable quantum computers.
