Discord is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Counsel to join its legal team, reporting to the VP and Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Regulatory Compliance. This role involves leading Discord's regulatory response and proactive legal engagement strategy for the Americas and APAC, focusing on online safety and content moderation. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Internet regulation, a license to practice law in a US state, and in-depth knowledge of regulatory landscapes across the US, Canada, Brazil, and APAC. You will be responsible for responding to regulatory requests, meeting with authorities, monitoring new regulations, and collaborating with internal teams to advocate for Discord's interests.
