Our founder, Shannon Beckham, served in the White House and U.S. Senate before working for Eric Schmidt across his AI initiatives and launching the first product at Together AI. She holds an MBA from Stanford and is on a mission to build the solution she wishes she had to power leaders in government and business.
We work in person from the Pear VC Studio in San Francisco, building alongside top early-stage startups. We’re pre-institutional fundraising — which means this is a rare opportunity to help define the future of the product and company while owning meaningful equity.

đź’» The Role
We’re hiring a Head of Engineering to lead the development of our core product — and the future of our engineering org. This is an opportunity to shape a category-defining platform at the intersection of AI, government, and c-suites. You will be a true technical partner to our CEO, helping build and lead a world-class company.
You’ll work closely with our CEO, founding engineer, and product designer to ship innovative, secure features while building the team and infrastructure that will scale with us. You’ll own technical strategy, lead all critical production security, and bring product vision to life with cutting-edge AI. We work fast, shipping features each week. đź’Ş Core Responsibilities
- Lead: Hire, mentor, and lead a world-class engineering team.
- Architect: Set technical direction, make foundational architecture decisions, and oversee system design, security, and scalability.
- Roadmap: Work closely with the CEO and designer to shape product vision and roadmap.
- Execute: Drive delivery of secure, performant features in a fast-paced 0→1 environment.
- Secure: Own security from day one — this is mission-critical in serving high-powered leaders.
- Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve on AI and identify opportunities to build differentiated experiences with agentic workflows, LLMs, and application data intelligence.
đź’Ż Ideal Qualifications
- 4-8+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Experience building and scaling secure SaaS products, ideally in fast-moving environments.
- Experience hiring, growing, and leading technical teams.
- Strong technical architecture skills and fluency across backend and frontend stacks.
- A product mindset — you don’t just build what’s asked, you help define what should be built.
- A deep love for craft — clean design, thoughtful interactions, and elegant UX.
- Strong commitment to security best practices and compliance standards.
- Deep passion about our mission to modernize how government and executive teams operate.
- Bonus: experience working with government customers.
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance if needed.

⚡️ Compensation
Salary range: $150K–$200K, plus meaningful early equity.
