Muon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to serve as the technical lead for their hardware test frameworks, encompassing software, standards, databases, and tooling for testing hardware from modules to fully assembled spacecraft. This hybrid role requires a hands-on engineer with expertise in both hardware and software, comfortable architecting Python frameworks and debugging test instruments. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of software engineering experience, expert-level Python skills, and a strong background in controlling and testing physical hardware. You will be responsible for designing and building Python-based test frameworks, writing instrument drivers, architecting test results databases, and mentoring other engineers.
