Helsing is seeking an AI Research Engineer - ML Engineering to join their team in Berlin, London, or Munich. This role focuses on pioneering autonomous decision-making for defence by architecting and implementing tools and platforms for high-volume data processing, RL agent training, and large-scale foundation models. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills in Python and modern DL frameworks, with a focus on abstracting complex distributed systems to maximize training throughput and developer velocity. You will extend deep learning frameworks, scale infrastructure for distributed training, and design data strategies for large datasets.
