Muon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to act as a Mission Mechanical Lead, tailoring spacecraft platforms to specific customer missions. This role involves independently owning the mechanical direction of missions from requirements to launch, collaborating with customers and internal teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in high-reliability hardware design, proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks), and a strong background in spacecraft or complex electromechanical systems. This hands-on position requires onsite work in San Jose, CA, three days a week.
