PhysicsX is seeking a Principal ML Infrastructure Engineer to extend and operate the infrastructure powering their research model training, fine-tuning, and serving pipelines. This role is embedded within the Research function, collaborating directly with ML engineers and research scientists to scale Large Physics Models efficiently. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in building and operating ML infrastructure at scale, with deep expertise in distributed training, strong systems fundamentals, and proficiency in Python and PyTorch. You will have end-to-end responsibility for research infrastructure, making architectural decisions and ensuring reliable data flow.
