Config is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and build robot end-effectors and human-operated grippers for large-scale data generation, directly shaping how robots learn. This role is critical for defining the interface between mechanical systems and AI, where hardware design impacts the quality of data for training robot foundation models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or robotics hardware, experience with actuated mechanical systems, and proficiency in CAD tools.
