Manifold Bio is seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Scientist to lead research initiatives within their AI team, focusing on innovative protein design methodologies. This role involves driving the development of generative de novo protein design capabilities and building foundational models for therapeutic properties like binding affinity and PK. The ideal candidate will independently conceive and execute high-impact research projects, pushing the boundaries of AI applications in protein design. This on-site position requires a PhD and 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning research, preferably in biotech or pharma, with expertise in PyTorch/JAX and deep learning architectures for molecular applications.
