Helsing is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to join their dedicated GNC team in London. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for developing and validating state estimation, navigation, and guidance algorithms for UAS platforms, aiming to significantly enhance their performance for defense technology. The ideal candidate will have an M.Sc. or PhD, at least 5 years of professional experience in GNC development, strong skills in Matlab/Simulink, and a solid background in state estimation theory and systems modeling. You will be instrumental in designing bespoke controllers, testing robust state estimators, and analyzing real sensor data to close the simulation-to-real gap, contributing to critical mission functions.
