K2 is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Propulsion) to join their multidisciplinary team in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves owning the mechanical design, development, build, test, and analysis of the highest-powered electric propulsion system ever flown for K2's groundbreaking satellites. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, proficiency with CAD/FEA, and a demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from concept to flight. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Series C space startup building the largest and highest-power satellites for missions from LEO to deep space.
