The Turbo Research team at Together AI is seeking a Research Intern for Fall 2026 to investigate efficient, scalable, and reliable post-training and reinforcement learning for large language models. This role focuses on the intersection of RL algorithms, inference systems, and large-scale experimentation, co-designing algorithms and systems to unlock new regimes of experimentation. Interns will study RL and post-training methods tightly coupled to inference behavior, with projects tailored to individual backgrounds and interests. Candidates should be pursuing a PhD or MS in Computer Science or a related field and have research experience in RL/post-training for large models, ML systems, or large-scale empirical ML research.
