Modal is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design and secure the core systems of their AI infrastructure platform. This hands-on, deeply technical role focuses on building security directly into the infrastructure, covering areas like container isolation, orchestration, identity, and secrets management in a multi-tenant, cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have experience securing cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems, with a strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and isolation mechanisms. You will work closely with engineering teams to define secure primitives and ensure the platform is resilient, scalable, and trustworthy by design.
