Pilgrim is seeking a Molecular Biologist to develop and optimize sample preparation, qPCR, and sequencing methods for their autonomous biological threat detection system, ARGUS. This role involves designing and executing experiments to enhance nucleic acid recovery and assay performance in complex environmental samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and hands-on experience with nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, and sequencing workflows. You will be responsible for turning experimental findings into validated protocols for reliable biological detection in the field.
