The Nuclear Company is seeking a Lead Metallurgical Process Engineer to define the manufacturing process for ultra-large, safety-critical metal components for Project FORGE. This foundational role involves designing the entire process from feedstock to raw-forged components, challenging existing best practices, and developing advanced forging process models. The ideal candidate will possess deep metallurgical and metal-forming expertise (7-15 years) with a track record of innovative problem-solving, aiming to improve quality, energy efficiency, and capital requirements. This remote position will eventually relocate to Washington, DC in 2027.
