Chowbus is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team in Chicago, focusing on a broad tax portfolio including U.S. state and local tax (SALT), income tax provision (ASC 740), foreign jurisdiction setup, transfer pricing, and China tax planning. This is a hands-on, builder role for an individual comfortable establishing new processes and infrastructure within a lean finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. SALT and either income tax or international/cross-border tax, with a working knowledge of ASC 740. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to operate across U.S. GAAP tax accounting, U.S. state tax compliance, and cross-border/China tax issues.
