Actively AI is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer specializing in Search & Retrieval to build and scale the critical systems that power their AI agents. This role involves designing and implementing the search, retrieval, and relevance infrastructure, including indexing, querying, ranking, and entity extraction, to ensure agents can precisely reason over diverse customer data. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in building and operating production retrieval systems, a strong background in information retrieval or applied ML, and expertise in handling data freshness and hybrid retrieval approaches. You will be responsible for owning the search architecture, developing shared retrieval primitives, and ensuring end-to-end retrieval quality for Actively AI's innovative Intelligence-Led Revenue platform.
