Valar Atomics is seeking a Staff Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain control systems for nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities. This role involves owning the full controls stack, from PLC/DCS programming and SCADA/HMI development to ISA-88 batch control and safety instrumented systems. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of I&C experience in process industries, demonstrating technical leadership in complex control system projects. You will contribute to making clean, high-temperature nuclear power scalable, working in a hands-on environment that prioritizes technical depth, disciplined documentation, and nuclear safety.
