Founding Engineer (Applied AI) | San Francisco - we sponsor visas

Faction is building autonomous AI for industrial distributors and manufacturers. Our mission is to accelerate the $2T industrial commerce market, and enable physical infrastructure to move as fast as the digital economy. In just 2 months, we’ve hit $XXXk ARR, closed our pre-seed, and are gearing up for a big seed later this year. This is a unique opportunity to get in early and shape the future of the industrial world.

We’re looking for Founding Engineers who want to build software that runs real businesses.

Who we're looking for:

• Strong experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), and PostgreSQL
• Deep knowledge of LLM research, agents, tool calling, and robustness
• Comfort with intensity and long hours in a small, fast-moving team (we operate 9-9-6)
• Ambition to shape our technical culture and roadmap as a core founding member
