Hermeus is seeking a Propulsion Component Responsible Engineer to lead the development of flight-critical mechanical and fluid system components for high-speed aircraft. This role involves owning hardware from clean-sheet design through build, test, qualification, and production, working closely with propulsion and vehicle teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in mechanical or propulsion hardware development, strong fundamentals in fluids and mechanics, and hands-on design experience. You will be responsible for designing for extreme environments and ensuring reliability and safety in dynamic flight conditions.
