RobCo is seeking a Functional Safety Programmer to be the technical cornerstone of their safety controller architecture and functional safety compliance. This role involves taking total ownership of the embedded C/C++ safety software stack, ensuring systems meet the highest international safety standards like ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in embedded C/C++ development, a strong understanding of functional safety standards, and a pragmatic, documentation-driven approach to engineering. You will lead safety software development, maintain PLC platforms, drive compliance, author certification documentation, and act as the primary technical contact for external safety assessments.
