Varda is seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Scientist, Analytical Sciences to join their pharmaceutical R&D team in El Segundo, CA. This role will lead efforts in improving therapeutics with microgravity, shaping Varda's product culture and contributing to the low Earth orbit economy. The successful candidate will develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for characterizing biologic and small molecule drug substances and products using LC-MS and other biophysical techniques. They will also be responsible for hands-on experiments, training junior scientists, and collaborating across various teams to drive drug development activities. A Ph.D. with 3+ years or M.S. with 6+ years of experience in relevant scientific fields and a track record in regulated method development are required.
