InstaLILY is seeking a founding Engineering Manager for their new London office, who will also serve as the sole Lead Engineer in the UK. This player-coach role involves leading a team of 6-10 engineers to build and ship an AI agent platform for enterprise customers, while also being technically deep enough to contribute hands-on and make critical decisions. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ years of direct management, and a strong background in shipping LLM-powered systems in production. This client-facing position requires excellent communication and the ability to manage people, drive delivery, and champion AI/ML best practices within a fast-growing, customer-obsessed environment.
