Hermeus is seeking a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Software Engineering Intern for Fall 2026 to develop cutting-edge software for the Quarterhorse supersonic unmanned aircraft. This role involves building control systems using C++ and web technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript) for both remotely piloted and autonomous flight modes. The intern will design and implement intuitive user interfaces and collaborate with flight crew and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related degree program with experience in web applications, C/C++, and an enthusiasm for aviation.
