Efficient Computer is seeking its first dedicated Director of Information Security to build and lead the company's security program from the ground up. This hands-on role involves protecting intellectual property, meeting defense and government security standards (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC), and managing export-controlled technology. Initially, the Director will also oversee all IT operations, with the plan to hire a dedicated IT Manager as the company scales. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of information security experience, including founding or leading a security program, and possess genuine hands-on technical depth in securing developer infrastructure and managing IT operations.
